This might sound a little strange, but I think it needs to be clarified. I'm a Domme, but this doesn't mean that I always have to be dominant. Many people call Me simply because they have questions or need advice. Others have fetishes that don't necessarily involve domination or humiliation. That's the thing about BDSM: it means different things to different people. For instance, some guys have a foot fetish or enjoy being spanked, but they aren't submissive and don't want to be humiliated or degraded. Some love to be humiliated but hate pain. This is where it's very important for you to tell Me what your limitations are and what you expect from Me during the session.
Some Dommes only know how to be hardcore; in other words, they only know how to talk "Dominant to submissive" and not "person to person". I can't imagine how intimidating it must be for novices to make that first phone call to a Domme. Maybe they're curious about a specific fetish, or maybe they want to learn more about BDSM in general. There's nothing wrong with that. We all have to start somewhere.
